What is Agriculture ?

Agriculture as the study is the education of agriculture, natural resources, and land management for economic purposes. The possibility of agricultural scientists and educated agriculturists are building and a good number of universities are offering courses in this field like B.Sc. in Agriculture or M.Sc. in Agriculture with different specializations such as horticulture, forestry, marine fisheries, inland fisheries, sericulture, apiculture, aquaculture, tissue culture, plant breeding, plant biotechnology, environment management, irrigation, soil quality management, etc.

Scope of Agriculture and Agriculture Branches

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in science stream with minimum aggregate marks criteria provided by the examining authority of government, universities/institutes, etc.

·         Chhattisgarh Pre Agriculture Test - CG PAT conducted by The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur

·         UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) conducted by Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya
